Get involved today and sign up to the Childhood Deafness Research Network
People with lived experience of childhood deafness and researchers from across the UK have been vital to the success of our work so far. As our work into childhood deafness continues, so does our joint ways of working.
In collaboration with Vocal [wearevocal.org], the Childhood Deafness Research Network welcomes researchers and healthcare professionals working in this area; and most importantly, people with lived experience of childhood deafness.
By sharing your unique perspectives and insights, you’ll be playing a vital role in:
- keeping the Top 10 priorities at the forefront and turning these priorities into tangible improvements through research
- developing and supporting research projects related to childhood deafness
- providing strategic advice to the Hearing Health theme of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre
Interested in getting involved? That’s great, we’d very much welcome the opportunity to work with you! If you have any questions about our group and our work so far, please get in touch at childhooddeafness@manchester.ac.uk. If you would like to sign up to the network, email us at vocal@mft.nhs.uk and we’d be happy to help!
We’re looking forward to working in partnership with you to improve outcomes for people with childhood deafness.
